Know the cost before I start.
The same basic service rates apply to homes and businesses. Servers, multi-workstation projects, complex networks, and ongoing business support are quoted separately after assessment.
- Drop-off diagnostic assessment
- $40Credited toward an approved repair. If you choose not to proceed, the assessment costs $40.
- Basic repair or computer optimization
- From $75Troubleshooting or performance cleanup for an agreed scope of work. Final price confirmed after assessment.
- Malware cleanup
- From $95Assessment and cleanup of unwanted or malicious software. Extensive recovery or a Windows reinstall is quoted separately.
- On-site troubleshooting in Jacksonville
- $100 / first hourBy appointment, with travel up to 15 driving miles from my North Jacksonville base included. Additional work time is quoted and approved before continuing.
- Hardware upgrades
- Quoted labor + partsRAM, SSD, and other compatible upgrades. Parts and installation are itemized in your quote.

- Request a quotePricing depends on devices, setup, and the work needed. On-site troubleshooting uses the first-hour rate above.
Fair, upfront travel fees
Distance is measured one way by road from my North Jacksonville base. Each fee covers the round trip for one visit and is confirmed before booking.
- Up to 15 miles: included in the $100 first-hour visit.
- Over 15–25 miles: $20 travel fee.
- Over 25–35 miles: $35 travel fee.
- Over 35 miles: individually quoted before booking.
No traffic-related increases, no travel fee for customer drop-off, and no additional trip fee for a return visit to correct my own work.
Your approval comes first.
Starting prices are not fixed prices for every issue. Parts and paid software are additional when needed. I confirm the scope and total with you before repair work begins. A $75 repair with a $40 diagnostic payment credited leaves $35 to pay.

I’m Timothy, the owner of 904 Tech Solutions. My interest in computers started as a kid, taking them apart and rebuilding them to run faster—back in the days of Windows 95, IDE hard drives, and slot-style processors.
I served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT). I earned my Associate of Applied Science degree, with studies in information technology and cybersecurity, at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana. I’m now pursuing my bachelor’s degree at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ).
With 904 Tech Solutions, I’m bringing that background to Jacksonville homes and small businesses. My approach is to listen, explain the options in plain language, and agree on the work and price before getting started.
